The Mark IMS Mounts are Leupolds newest top-of-the-line mounting solution for scopes with a 30mm tube diameter. The Mark IMS 30mm Mounts one piece machined design makes it incredibly strong and rugged ensuring the mount will perform flawlessly even under the most brutal conditions. The mount uses a heavy 2 bolt design that allows for quick and repeatable installation and removal. The Leupold Mark IMS family of mounts provides a solution to the most common issues encountered when mounting riflescopes onto Armalite-style rifles. Many shooters struggle with finding the right scope height and eye relief, but the Mark IMS mount is designed to solve these problems. This mount is specifically created to fit Armalites MIL-spec 1913/Picatinny rail and any scope with a 30mm maintube. The forward cantilever design of the mount allows you to place your scope forward on the rail, giving you a full field of view. Additionally, the center of the optic is placed 1.5in off the rail, which is the same height as open sights on a classic Armalite. This design ensures that you can easily look through your scope without having to struggle to get low enough to the stock.image
